Wrapped and Recyclable – North Wing

Thursday, 19 September 2024

The North Wing of Rotorua Museum Te Whare Taonga o Te Arawa is now fully scaffolded and wrapped
We expect this side of the building to be covered for approximately one year to allow for installation of warm roofing system, tiling and exterior maintenance.
Did you know? The canvas on the roofing trusses will be reused on other projects and nearly 95% of the plastic wrap used on the walls will be recycled
When it is time to de-install Geeves Scaffolding will carefully remove the plastic film, which will be transported to Second Life Plastic where it will be made in to a range of useful other products.
